Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Vetheon is a small company specialising in all aspects of mechanical engineering. Vetheon was founded in 2011 and is situated on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent with easy access to the surrounding motorway network, ideally situated midway between Manchester and Birmingham.
Director Robert Hammond BEng, has quickly established Vetheon as a valued supplier to both end users and other engineering companies, and along with fellow director Gary Wootton BSc, aim to grow the business by supplying on–time parts of the correct cost and quality.
Robert has over 25 years of experience in running his own companies within the engineering sector and Vetheon provides an exciting opportunity to build on these successes.
Both Robert and Gary believe in having an efficient and streamlined production strategy, with the focus always on the customer: in fact, Vetheon has adapted production strategies more akin to larger industries, taking principles such as lean manufacturing, along with a stringent control of overheads only truly possible with a smaller company, to reduce costs which manifests itself in competitive prices for the customer.
Another speciality of Vetheon is providing a consignment stock service to the customer, again allowing for an optimisation of the production process resulting in competitive costings and shortened lead times. Vetheon's production encompasses a wide range of items, from manufacturing experimental parts from recycled materials to producing threaded studs.
